Many laugh out loud moments in these extracts from Palin’s daily diary, particularly when the subject is excrement (whether it be a pigs, Denholm Elliott’s or his own). Palin is well-read, well-travelled and well-known (as Eric Idle). An entertaining read that makes me want to watch his films from this period in time.
