Cleverly written satire on the American Dream. As a novel focused on America’s middle class, it’s not as deep as Revolutionary Road. It’s a struggle to feel for these wealthy, whining adults who dislike their parents and worry about their stock portfolio. Chip’s tale is the highlight of the novel.
