Jungla - Short, authentic book reviews

-

Twisting epic spanning generations of families living in Barcelona. Original in its concept and perfectly executed as a sprawling novel. Zafon’s skill in building atmosphere to create horror and suspense is superb. One of the best books I have read this year.

Love, death, vengeance and humanity are all tested in this modern classic. A true depiction of how the transition into adulthood is a journey that is best spent with friends. The mysteries of a forgotten writer become an obsession worth chasing and a story worth sharing.
